The idea at the heart of Overlapi
You do not keep aiming at the same fixed square. Each stop cuts away everything that did not overlap. That smaller, off-centre remnant is the target for the next moving square.
A moving personal target
Return to a level and your previous best shape appears as an outline. It is not an abstract high score tucked away in a menu—it is the shape you are trying to preserve, visible while the next square approaches.
The question is never simply “Can I finish?” It becomes “Can I leave more of the square than I did last time?”
A game of margins
A single percentage describes exactly how much survived. The thresholds reward progress, but 100% has a status of its own.
Difficulty has a direction
Across 10 zones, movement grows from steady horizontal and vertical approaches into faster, multi-square and diagonal challenges. Zone cards show the character of what is ahead before you commit to a level.
The long game
Every level contributes up to 100 points. Every zone contributes up to 1,000. A score of 10,000 is not merely a total—it means achieving 100% on every one of the game’s 100 levels.

Overlapi does not put the full game behind an initial purchase. Play, improve and earn the stars required to open new zones.
Optional, non-consumable in-app purchases provide a shortcut to later zones. They are processed by Apple and can be restored through the app’s Settings screen.

Overlapi is a timing game developed by Nuifish Limited. This policy applies to the full Overlapi iOS app and the Overlapi App Clip.
Overlapi does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information to Nuifish.
Overlapi stores information needed to provide the game locally on your device, including:
Nuifish does not operate an online account or cloud service containing this information. Your device’s operating-system backup facilities may include locally stored app information, depending on your Apple backup settings.
Overlapi offers optional, non-consumable purchases that unlock zones. Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through the App Store. Nuifish does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase, account and transaction information according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Overlapi uses Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. If you use Game Center, the app may submit your overall score, star total and completed achievements to Apple under your Game Center account. Nuifish does not operate a separate server containing that information. Apple processes Game Center information according to its own privacy policy.
The Overlapi App Clip provides a short gameplay preview without requiring installation of the full app. Preview information is temporary and is stored and managed on your device according to Apple’s App Clip lifecycle. It does not currently transfer into the installed app.
The App Clip may display an Apple-provided link to the free full app on the App Store.
Overlapi does not include third-party analytics, advertising networks or cross-app tracking. Nuifish does not monitor how you play the game.
Overlapi’s locally stored progress and settings remain on your device while the app is installed. Deleting Overlapi removes its local app data, subject to copies that may be retained through Apple device backups.
Purchased-zone entitlements are associated with your App Store account and may become available again when purchases are restored.
Overlapi is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Overlapi’s functionality or data practices change. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Answers to common questions about scoring, zones and purchases.
Retain at least 50% of the starting square after tapping to place every moving square in the level.
Keeping at least 50% earns one star, 75% earns two stars and 90% earns three stars. A 100% result marks the level as perfect.
No. You can unlock zones by earning their required number of stars. Optional purchases let you access later zones sooner.
Open Settings in Overlapi and choose Restore Purchases. Eligible purchases associated with the current App Store account will be restored.
Your best percentage from each of the 100 levels contributes up to 100 points, producing a maximum overall score of 10,000.
Not currently. The App Clip is a temporary three-challenge preview; progress in the installed game begins separately.
Nuifish does not receive your gameplay data. If you use Game Center, scores and achievements are submitted to Apple under your Game Center account.
